We’re off and racing

Well, FALCON ROAD is officially, well………….on the road.

Our launch at Oxford Art Factory was huge. What a great venue, and what a great gig. 

Our single, FAVOURITE HABIT should be available on itunes very shortly. We’ve had a MASSIVE response to the myspace in its first 3 weeks (almost 11000 hits) www.myspace.com/falconroad

Beno’s Birthday bash

Thursday night was the day after Beno’s birthday, so we extended the celebrations just a little bit longer.

As usual, we challenged ourselves by performing plenty of music we had never rehearsed, or even played before. It really keeps you on your game……

Happy Birthday Dear Beno

Lordy me, it’s Beno’s birthday!! Or, it WAS Beno’s birthday on Nov5. I think he was 28 (again).

We had a rockin’ time at the Nob tonight, although both Beno and Kyle were a little on the tired side. Beno and The Filthy Rich played Wagga on Wednesday and MNING went to Def Leppard. HORNS UP.

Although tonight didn’t feature any dirty limericks, there were some crazy song choices - including the theme from Dr Who and the theme from Different Strokes. That’s what Willis was talkin about………

An awesome crew of locals and visitors helped us sing into the wee small hours, including some “emotional” Year 12’s who were celebrating the end of school. Ah memories.

Launch imminent

Things are hotting up in the FALCON ROAD camp. The music video for the debut single Favourite Habit is finished, and can be cheekily previewed on youtube. The myspace is up and running (just), thanks to the beautiful Hayley Mearns, and the band are in final rehearsals for our launch on November 19.

 

Derby Day in Dubbo

Holly Amber and the Badge rocked a rather large and enthusiastic crowd at Dubbo’s Amaroo Hotel on Saturday.

Derby Day is the biggest day of the year in Dubbo, and Holly Amber attracted a big contingent of race-goers after proceedings wrapped up at the track.

Next up is a corporate gig in Sydney for Schenker Australia and then TAMWORTH!!!!! Yee Haa…….
