Gearing up for CMC Rocks the Mount

We’re pumped about travelling to SA with Jasmine for the CMC Rocks the Mount Festival!
If its anything like CMC Rocks the Snowys, it’s gonna be HUGE!!
There are some awesome artists on the bill, including Catherine Britt, Lee Kernaghan and my old mates the Noll Brothers.
The beautiful town of Melrose is about three hours North of Adelaide, and is worth the trip for anyone who hasn’t been there.
Cant wait!!

I’m about to embark on an exciting new writing project with awesome Orange muso Pat O’Donnell. We’re going into the studio to churn out some country hits! We’re calling it Irregular Mondays. Hmmmm sounds catchy. Stay tuned.

Beno and I will be performing at our favourite Orange venue The Hotel Canobolas tonight from 6.30. We’re gonna attempt every Irish song we know, so come on down and have a craic and a Guiness.

On Tour with Jasmine

Playing on the Size Matters Tour has been an absolute blast, and a journey of musical growth for me.
We played some great shows with Jasmine on this tour, including the beautiful Empire Theatre in Toowoomba, which is regarded by many in the industry as the best room in the country. Its divine architecture was matched by some divine music - the highlight for me being the beautifully honest and talented Deana Carter, whose songs connect with you immediately.
My dislike of flying was tested, jumping on a plane almost every other day - but I found that I might actually be getting a handle on it!
I was kept busy rehearsing keyboard parts in my spare time, as I jumped onto the piano for CMC Rocks the Snowy’s at the end of the tour. This was doing my head in a little, but I really feel as though I know Jasmine’s material backwards now……
Next up with Jasmine is the CMC Rocks The Mount festival in SA in April.
Size Matters Tour with Joe Nichols

What an incredible couple of weeks it has been travelling through Queensland and NSW with the amazing Joe Nichols and his band on the Size Matters Tour.
Add to this the incredible Deana Carter, Aussie favourite Steve Forde, and of course our gorgeous Jasmine Rae and you have a recipe for an awesome musical journey.
Hanging out with the Nashville players was a lot of fun. Joe and his whole band and tech crew were such down-to-earth and humble people. Mish, Trav, Jas and I have made friends for life.
Joe’s band were nothing short of world class. It is honestly one of the tightest and best produced country shows I have ever seen. As for the man’s voice - it resonates through you like a freight train, and he engages his audience so honestly.
Its a tour I’ll never forget, and I hope these boys get back to Australia real soon……
Falcon Road to play New Zealand for Coca Cola

Falcon Road will be doing a one-off gig in Auckland, New Zealand at the Film Premiere for Mark’s new short film.
We fly out to do one show for the Coke sponsored event on March 14, billed alongside popular NZ band Kingston.
The Falcon has been a bit quiet while Mark has been shooting the film, but its good to be back and rockin’.
